Thanks, JD! When hubby came home from Vietnam, his parents (who are both WWII-era Vets) patted him on the back and said, "We're glad you're home, safe and sound, Son... but we don't want to hear about it." I think it's the same with a lot of Vietnam Vets...nobody wanted to hear about it then. It's wonderful that you all can feel comfortable and safe here among other VN Vets...your brothers and sisters...and with Family, and Friends and let those memories and experiences flow. To share them definitely helps in the healing of the soul. Keep up the good work, Guys & Gals! And, Welcome Home! {{{HUGS}}} Sharon Tac401 Administrator Posts: 712 (5/17/01 9:37:57 pm) | Del ezSupporter Re: A message From JD -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well the people in general may not have wanted to hear it then and maybe they had there way at that time, BUT you all can be DAMN sure IT WILL BE HEARD NOW wheather anyone likes or not! I feel it’s important that we Vet’s share our memories, personal photo’s and our long held emotions before it’s to late. We are all part of history, if we like it or not. Only we can tell the real story about our War, it’s our duty and obligation to do so. I thank you all for caring enough to help with this task. Welcome Home……… P.
