Default WAAR wads for 11/4 oz 12 ga loads

I have a bunch of WAAR wads and can't find data for 11/4 oz loads. I'd prefer to use Unique or clays universal or even herco since I plenty of those powders. got any suggestions?

Hello jstcows and welcome to TFF. I dragged out my old Lyman "Shotshell Handbook", Second edition and here is what I found. I will assume these are low brass WAA target hulls. If they are different, then this data does not apply.

Herco Powder:

26.5 gr; Winchester 209 primer, Remington RP12 wad.
27.5 gr; CCI 109 primer; One Pacific Green Verelite wad.
28.0 gr: CCI 109; Winchester WAA12R wad;

Unique Powder:

22.5 gr; Winchester 209; Remington RP12 wad
22.5 gr; Winchester 209; One Pacific Blue Verelite wad.
24.0 gr; WW 209; WAA12R wad.

Hope this helps. I would recommend getting a newer edition of the Lyman book and seeing what they say!

I load those red wads in 1 1/4 loads from my Lyman book. I think there are some Herco loads listed. I will check later on and let you know.
