Well...Mt Fuji is so big that its finally sticking out of my ear... i'm about to perform surgery with boxcutter... Wish me luck everyone!!!!!

The way John Wayne would have done it would be to drink a half bottle of whiskey, heat his knife up in a fire, and go to town. Oh yeah, get a stick, wrap some rawhide around it, and bite down on it. Finish off the rest of the cheap whiskey and go after the bad guys. Don't cut your ear off, it's really hard to wear sun glasses without both ears.

Yup...just drained it. It wasn't a zit... i'm beginning to think it was a spider bite or something. I think i might go to the doc tomorrow....

Well it could be worse. I worked with a guy named Thad a few years back that hated doctors more than i do. He had an abcessed tooth? and he decided that he was going to pop that abcess with a thumb tack.... Yup... thats right.... a thumb tack. And just to ensure that he wouldn't chicken out when it started to hurt he decided he would put the thumbtack on the spot...line it up with his tongue and punch himself on that spot to make it all happen in one swift action.....

The ending was not a good ending.

Then there was jailbird Tony that was on Parole. Ol Tony knew a drug test was coming up and he had heard from one of his buddies that if he drank some water with some bleach in it that it would flush his system and he would successfully pass the upcoming drug test.
He mixed the bleach and water 50/50.....
Good ol Tony was at the treeline puking his guts out for about 45 minutes...and to tell you the truth... i surprised he survived it to be honest.

I had an employee on probation that had a visit with the parole officer. Read that 1/2 gallon vinegar would clean him out. Tested positive, went to jail........and peed a lot.

Pure gum turpentine will draw the poison out and all the soreness also, I use it all the time on everything and look at me I just fine.

GN - you hear a small voice inside your head.... it says

GET TO THE DR !!!!!

So easy to go see the doc vice risk the unknown. I'm a stubborn azz too, so I know how getting to the Dr's can be at times......... this isn't one of them though.
My worst case example is of a friend that I was stationed with, he kept picking at an ingrown toe nail and let it fester and get badly infected. Not until it became crippling did he finally go to the doc, approx 6 hrs later he got out of surgery (hosp for a week) after they amputated his gangrene infected ankle and tibia. he lost his leg below the knee. Not that I think you're going to need your head amputated or anything

, but the minor unknown crud can get ugly and it's just not worth "buckin" up and taking it like a man over it.

mike, dont listen to them, if you go to the doctor the doctor will say, eh put some peroxide on it and it'll be okay in a week. it's probably just a spider bite. probably just a non dangerous spider and the bite will only be sore for a week or two and then heal up without a problem. IF you die as a result of taking my advice i assume no legal responcibility and do not claim that i am a doctor or know what im talking about, but before anything else happens i would suggest to write a will stating that i get your heavy weight commander, since you cant take your guns with you
