Default Win-win for barry if the Supreme Court rejects obama-care?

By now, I'm sure most of you have heard that the Supreme Court will take up obama-care somewhere around March, with a possible ruling out in June.

I heard something on one of the radio talk shows that I listen to every day.
The host had the theory that if the SC shoots down obama-care, then companies will be doing a lot more hiring, and the market will go nuts. This, because companies will see that since they won't be saddled with the onerous costs and regulations they would have faced if obama-care was upheld by the court, they will start investing in hiring and expansion.
So while we want obama-care struck down, the down side would be that if that radio show host was right, then by his logic, the unemployment rate would start dropping, and the economy would take off.

Guess who would get credit for that? You guessed it, the Imposter in Chief!

I think his popularity and support numbers would start to rise, and I am afraid, rise to numbers that would get him re-elected. So I tend to agree with the commentator; in a way, it is a win-win situation for The Socialist, which ever way the SC ruling goes.

A while back, I posted a thread where I raised a theory that in essence, we kind of need the un-employment numbers to stay high, and the economy to remain sluggish. Reason being, that if either got markedly better, than b.o. would get credit, look like the hero,... and get re-elected because of it. Continuing with my theory, we would have to continue to suffer until we get him out of office for the greater good.
I fully expected to get beat up and flamed for daring to present such an idea, but I wasn't. As harsh a theory as it is, I still tend to think we must suffer through the poor unemployment and economic numbers, as I don't think it would take much to get enough people to say, "well, obama seems like he is getting a handle on things, and while I was getting unsure about him, I think I will vote for him again".

It's one of my worst nightmares.

So am I reading too much into all of this? I am certainly no deep thinker, so I would welcome other points of view.

...or maybe you agree.

Your thoughts?

Very scary thought and very possible!!! So man people still don't have a clue to what they did to the freedoms of this great country. I am still very hopeful that things will get right!!

It'll actually be a win win for all people. No Obamacare, better economy, and more jobs. The general public is very wise to Obama and his crew.

How does another 4 years of Obombas socialist agenda become a good thing?

First, welcome to the forum.
While I appreciate your optimism, I must disagree with the above statement.
Some of the public is getting wise to him, but I fear there are still too many who are too lazy or stupid or just don't care to truly look at the man's ideology. These are the ones who could very well put him back in office.

I ask you to reconsider the main point I was making. That if unemployment starts to fall and the economy starts to take off as a result of obama-care being shot down, that may be enough to get him re-elected!

Of course, we want to see obama-care gone, unemployment numbers down and the economy growing, but if he is re-elected, then unless we can maintain the House and regain the Senate, I think we will see him go all in on his agenda and his promise to fundamentally transform America! I think any good unemployment or economic numbers we might see, will be short-lived until he gets into a second term. Then he will be a lame-duck with nothing to lose, and by the end of his second term, I think there may be too much damage done to be reversed.
We will be a European styled nation. We are well on our way to that already.

Someone posted on this forum a while back, saying basically that every generation of American's think they are facing the biggest crises the nation has yet seen, yet somehow, we always come through.
I think that we are now facing our biggest crisis ever. If he is re-elected, I think the form of government that our fore fathers envisioned and fought and died for, will be lost forever.

I truly fear my Government. It's supposed to be the other way around.
