Oh well, I suppose somebody will buy that kind of stuff.
If you had an original "Stinger" pengun....the one issued to the OSS during WWII.....it'd be worth a few bucks. http://home.pacbell.net/rlhag65/oss_fact.htm |

Before I made my pistol purchase, I looked at several different types, styles, makes, etc. etc. I was already leaning toward a 1911 of some make when I handled a GLOCK 21 at a gun show. The thing that I noticed first was that it looked like it was 6 inches wide when you look down the sights, and the point of aim just felt like you had to make it point where you wanted it. The 1911 on the other hand is much slimmer and points very naturally, you almost don't have to use the sights you just "know" where you are aiming. Also the 1911 is easy to tweak and accessorize to you own personal likeing and tastes. I don't have a high dollar 1911 ( although my deal on the Kimber should be done before much longer <sigh> see 1911 forum ) but I like it much beter than ALL of the others I looked at.
Oh, I do want to check out a GLOCK 36, slimmer compact .45. Any experience with these anybody?
