My brother has a 16 gauge gibraltar and was wondering what year it was and its value. The number are A36741. Anybody has heard of these.

It is listed as being a "Trade Name" for shotguns made by Albert Aubrey for Sears and Roebucks. Serial numbers are of no use on these old trade name shotguns, there are no records available. Value, don't have the foggiest. The Standard Catalog states that they are of good quality and depending on the grade and condition the value rages from 100 to 1500 dollars. Post a few pictures and someone will take a WAG as to era and possible value.
