Question Wolf large pistol primers

These are the only primers I could find so I bought a few boxes. Any experience with them? Problems?

Used 1000 of them earlier this year and have fired all .45's loaded with them. Had no problems whatsoever; I didn't happen to chrony any of these rounds though; my groups were typical of ones loaded with WLP's, so I'd call them worth buying if they're the only ones available.

Chrony? Huh?

WLP's? Say what? Hey, I just received by Lyman's manual TODAY so I WILL be reading up on this stuff but please dumb it down a bit 'till I have the manual read.

No problem, thanks for actually manning up and admitting that I jumped the gun on ya.

Chrony - chronograph used for calculating bullet speeds

WLP - winchester large pistol (primer)

I have loaded several thousand rounds using Wolf large & smal pistol primers....they all have gone bang without issue.

Like Randy and Woollie, Wolf was all I used.... untill they raised the price. CCI it is now.
Never had any trouble with Lg or Sm pistol.
Call the dealers and ask if they have any in stock. They show the web out of stock but
if you only want a k or so they might be able to fill your order ! Worth a free phone call.

Just me .02 cents worth sir.

I saw a sign on one of the local gun shops this morning that said Wolf Primers for $39.95 per 1000. Seems a little high to me!
