"Bayard Arms" shotguns were actually made by Henri Pieper in Liege, Belgium. The factory was located at #12 Bayard Street.
Pieper was a renowned maker of mid-level shotguns from the 1850's up until WWI.
I'd guesstimate that your shotgun was made around the 1890's to the early 1900's.
You have an interesting decorator piece worth up to $150-$200 depending on "looks." It is NOT a shooter - do not attempt to fire with even mild loads.
