By exucitive order, delete all firearm laws except the one that pertains to felons.

Then let congress take over from there.

one more thing, remove all federal, state and local law, then remove the bill of rights , and write ONE LAW, whatever law is written by any governing body, that pertains to any individual, group, organiztion, or entity, will also apply to ALL other individuals, groups, entities, etc.
watch your taxes and regulations DROP LIKE A STONE!

We better be careful before we start another revolution. Marlint, I love your avatar. P-38 was always my favorite.

I would repeal all gun laws. I think that if you have one your responisable for it. Comit a violent crime with one then your killed by one.

Let's see, first I'd want Marlin on the Supreme Court, 358 Winchester as Sec. of Defense, Deputy Dawg as head of the FBI, Ryan Marine on the Joint Chiefs. SoMo can be my Sec of State.
Oh, and I'll make Ann Coulter my vice president, just to tick the liberals off

Arrow None of the above

If I were president, the first thing I would do is ...

__allow the U.S. government to engage in assassinations. - - already happens

__allow wiretaps pertaining to terrorism threats - - Bush did it

__create one common concealed carry law for all states - - The President cannot "create" law, but on this subject, I see no need to require or prohibit concealment.

__begin my quest to rule the world - - Ah yes, the will to power. See Nietschze, Beyond Good and Evil

Lead you do realize that with me as Sec.of Defense there would be lots of border security, every male and female would spend the age of 18 to 20 in our military and be required to maintain a rifle with ammo in their home until the age that they could no longer hit a 6 inch target at 100 yards. We would no longer train military personnel from another country at our expense nor would we share any of our technology with them.
SURE YOU WOULD WANT ME

As for myself i would repeal all gun law, build a great wall around the U.S. abolish the IRS and the BATF,cut the size of the federal government in half to start with, give more power back to the states, and cut all of the useless government programs, and that is just in the first day, if i was still alive the second day my work would continue.

And what, pray tell, do you hope to accomplish with a firearms pertaining to felons? You expect that a convicted felon, bent on violence, will say "Gee, I'm not allowed to posess a gun, I had better not use one"?

The basic problem with ANY gun law is that criminals, by definition, break the law.

Yes Family guy, I totally agree with you that the defination of a criminal is one who breaks the law.

On the other hand, if there is no law, those felons, for example, would have no reason to even think that there would be consiquences for there actions.

Would I expect a felon to obay the law? Naa, we know better than that, but there would sure be SWIFT justice. For example the death penality wouldn't take 30+ years or so. (Tookie comes to mind here, he died a hero according to the left.) That is just wrong, all appeals in under 5 years would be good.
