I have an old 22 pistol that is a Ranger Model by Hopkins & Allen Arms Co.
6" octogon barrel 7 shot. Will shot shorts and long 22 shells. It has never been pattend. The no. on the handle has the no. 44 L or 1 3 Do not know what that stands for. Could some one let me know what it is worth or how old it is Thank you Virginia Pitsch

Hopkins and Allen started making rim fire revolvers int the 1860's and ceased all operations in 1915. Unless there is something special , such as pearl handles or engraving, most of these " Suicide Specials " don't really bring in a lot of money. In very good condition they sell for 100 to 125.
