Fw: Anti-Gun Nut Logic from Les Lemke

If a man plows into 10 people with a car and kills them it's the man's fault - not the car's fault nor the public's easy access to cars.

On the other hand...

If a man shoots 10 people dead with a firearm it's the gun's fault - and the public's easy access to guns.

So much for the logic from the anti-gun nuts.

I hope you all have noticed there has not been any public outcry for banning cars since that 85 year old man plowed into that crowd of flea market shoppers in California. However, had that same man killed 10 people with a gun the anti-gunners would have gone nuts with more emotional cries for more gun control laws.

I hate to say it but this is the way they(the anti's)think. The same thing can be said of alcohol and driving. Do you sue the brewery or distillery for the accident or death?

When do you suppose that these morons will understand that cars,guns, and the like are "inanimate" objects and are unable to do things of their accord?

I don't think the anti's really blame the guns themselves. They know that people are behind it. They just blame the fact that people have easy access to guns. They have a distorted view of life, where if people don't have access to firearms, all violent crimes will somehow stop.

If they could prove to me that there was no such thing as violent crime before the advent of firearms, then I might be inclined to believe them. Unfortunately, that is not the case. People will always kill other people. They will always rob, rape, maim, kidnap, etc. Whether they're using guns, swords, knives, brass knuckles, or what have you, people are the problem.
