The Sci-Fi channel is one of our favorites. I also have a young boy who contols the front room t.v. His favorite is the Japanese anime on the Cartoon Network.

Out here the mini-series (new pilot) from the fall of 2003 is playing on NBC from 8pm-11pm. Sci-Fi is going to show the new series is the 1st episode of the new series on Friday, Jan 14,2005 at 9/8C. Cannot wait. Quite a difference in how the cast is set up on the new version.

Kinda like the first one - new actors/old actors mixed - not the greatest lines, and a bit sappy, but it could get better I do not agree with the "PG" rated sex scene, shown the first 15 min. That does not belong on prime time when my kid is sittin on the couch. Very close to an "R" rating in my book. Some of the crap that the'll use to get ratings. Who the hell has all of those Neilson Ratings boxes...

For me to get SIFI Channel, I need to rent a box that costs another $40 every month. It's in with about 100 other channels of fluff crap that we would never watch. Out of the additional channels, we would watch maybe 10 of them. They do not include any preimum channels such as HOB or Showtiime.

Lotta money for 10 channels.

I watched Battlestar Galactica on Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the series. The action scenes were great, the character development was great, and there was good balance between the story line and the special effects.

I'm just disappointed that Starbuck is a chick, LOL.
