Our forum is 5 years old today!! Many thanks to our Admin, aka Tac, who put this place together from scratch and made it a comfortable place to gather. And thanks, as well, to all the miscreants who bought into Tac's vision and helped make this place what it is today!

Has it been 5 years already? Are you talking about the move here from EZboard? Or the existence of the board in general? I don't remember that far back.

Existence in general. The move from ezboard was in early 2003 (that's why you and I show join dates of Mar, 2003), but The Firearms Forum.com was founded on February 9, 2001. That's practically ancient in internet terms!

The vision was an inspired one. Where else might you find a better bunch of folks that are so friendly, congenial and just so much fun. Also, the knowledge displayed is second to none. Tac/Admin has been proven right many, many times over plus ten-fold!!!!!

It has a special meaning for us since this is where SoMo and I first met.....

Duh! I'm not too bright today, apparently.

I think I joined this board sometime in late 2001 or early 2002. I had the impression it had been around a lot longer than that. But of course, many of the folks had known each other for a lot longer than that over on Brand X.

Well all I can think to say is I'm lucky to have the good fortune of
having a great Admin / Mod staff, and especially our TFF members.

It's ALL of YOU FOLKS that make up the heartbeat of what makes
TFF such a great place to be. Thanks for all the kind words, you
people deserve equal credit plus!

i have only been here for six months. I found this place by accident when i was looking for i gun part and i am glad i did

. This is a great place with some really nice people here, where a conservative gun nut fits right in. i have visited a few other forums in the begining but they do not come close to the quality of this froum. thank you all for creating the TFF.

Happy Natal Day, TFF!

So far as I am concerned, TFF is the ONLY firearms forum worth belonging to on the Net. What makes TFF unique is the people who inhabit it. All I have encountered here have been up-front, knowledgable, and most of all, friendly people. Here we gun nuts can joke and kid around--have a good laugh, in other words--while still exchanging truly useful information and experiences.
