Default Krag 1894 Springfield Armory 30-40Cal

Krag- Springfield armory1894 30-40 Cal serial# 38xx in about 80% condition. Can someone give me an idea as to it's worth? The Blue book says there are originals and copies(reworks) how does one tell the difference?

Hi Bill.........welcome to TFF!

We really haven't been ignoring you......personally I was hoping for somebody with more knowledge about Krags would jump in.

For starters, can you please post some sharp full-length pix (both right and left profile), and some closer pix showing the receiver/bolt/trigger area......that'll give us a base to start identifying which particluar Model/Variation of Krag you have. We can go on from there.
