Default Ballester Molina Argentine M1911 Clone

Any info on this at all. I dont need to know where it came from or how it was used. Im hoping for what to expect ballistics wise, accuracy wise, and if its worth getting. Its new in the grease and never fired. The dude wants 239.00 for it. I know the barrel and mag's are interchangable with a M1911 but will the grips go over too? Any other little bits of info will be helpful. -Char

I've owned a couple different BM's. Not sure about the grip swap but they are good shooters and that is a fair price.

The ones I had would only run on ball ammo. Didn't wanna feed HP's. Might have with some polishing of the ramp & such. I never messed with them that much and sold them for a profit.

They were made in Argentina for their military & police.

Nothing else will swap from a 1911. They are not true copies of the 1911, no grip safety etc.

No, the grip panels will not swap as the grip frame is slightly different and the grip screws are not in the same place.
