Obama's new Attorney General, Eric Holder, has already said this is one of his major issues.
This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today.. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court's accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms. Here's what you need to do: First - vote on this one. Second - launch it to other folks and have THEM vote - then we will see if the results get published. The Question is: "Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?" Click on the link below and PLEASE vote Yes!

No offense MT, but the government ran away when 2 million people marched on the whitehouse. They shut down the media and blew it off.
They couldn't care less what the polls say. The voice of the people is of no concern them. ![]() Vote ALL of them out! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think this is very old. this is the third time i've seen it posted over the last year. I doubt its validity any more. I don't doubt you Rmt.

I have seen this poll several times now and voted each and every time it came up, just for the heck of it and the numbers haven't changed. I don't put a lot of stock in these polls any longer. Actually, I'm loosing faith in "By the people, For the people" and I don't like the way the world is changing. Just my 2 cents worth

I almost came back and deleted this because I was unable to find this poll on USA Todays site. Probably a hoax of some sort. I received it in an email. I'm going to delete the link because clicking unknown links can give you a virus.

It's not a hoax. It was an actual USA Today poll from 2007. It is not linked to any live pages on the USA Today sight, but it pops up on forums and in e-mails every once in a while.
A lot of people think that by voting on it, they have just done their civic duty and made their voice heard. Got news for you... media polls don't count and politicians (on either side of the aisle) don't pay any attention to them. If you look for it, there are probable a dozen threads on this forum about the same poll. A few months ago, three threads were created about it in a single week.
