This reminds me of Cabela's, with all their warranty protection nagging now. Next time I go, I will buy a chocolate bar and ask if that's covered....

You know... I am actually thinking about doing the whole "Get a quote" thing, just to see how far it will go.

Haha!! Sure doesn't seem like anybody has any faith in their products anymore (but of course they are all made in China anyway).

I got the SquareTrade warranty on a couple of lenses and on the D40 refurb I bought. It was worth it for that, easily. They send me 4 emails a month stating I can buy extended warranties on retail purchases, but nothing else.

I'd ask them what the warranty would cost just to be curious. Not to be mean and evil. No, nothing like that. Not me!
