I watched an interesting show on the Dead Sea Scrolls and specifically the War Scrolls. My Sunday school class discussed the Battle of Armegeddon and it was quite interesting. The War Scrolls talks about the battle of God and the children of Light and Belial and the children of dark.According to the documentary and biblical interpretation it will be in the land of Mesopatamia,Assyria and the Persian Empire which are all in current conflict and have been for centuries. Here is an interesting article about it.According to the scroll there are a series of 7 battles and most have been fought already. The 7th battle will be in the lands I described and the final battle of armageddon.

That is pretty deep reading and as with most things in the Bible, I have a hard time understanding the true meaning.
