Default Smith and wesson 29-3 with factory scope mounting system on barrel?

I have been looking for a 29-2 and came across this and bought it anyway. i was attracted to the factory barrel broaching for the smith and wesson scope rings. I have seen it in a 629 but not a 29. wondering how rare this is? I got $700 wrapped up in all with a shoulder holster. i would rate 98 to 99% and the 3 cylinders of ammo I put threw it today probably doubled its round count. i bought the after market grips seperate, so $650 in the gun and holster.

At 50yrds I was hitting an 8inch swing target 6 out of 6, so I am very pleased with the gun and the single action pull is a dream.
