For those of you that have been asking, Amy my neighbor had an emergency C-section this morning. She was scheduled for next Wed but there were some complications so they took him this morning. Everyone is doing fine ![]()

Tell them congratulations from us Mitchells in Ky, I remember talking to the father quite a bit at the Labor Day weekend shoot! Didn't she fall and hurt her ankle (broke it?) a while back? If so is she still off her feet from that as well? If so Daddy is going to have his hands full!

Im happy for the family, seems like their are not alot of good neighbors any more that get along that well.Ive heard my Grandma speak of the way it used to be.If someone was building a Barn the neighbors was there to help. They only had one son and he was very young at the time, their tobacco was ready to cut but my grandpa had a log to roll over his legs one day while out working on the farm and broke one of his legs.So my Grandma and the girls were going to cut the tobacco and spud and hang it.All of the neighbors and I dont mean next door neighbors because they owned all the land near and around the home,it was folk who lived on that road and other friends come and all pitched in and cut the tobacco. My Grandma and the girls hadnt even finished the first row.You dont see that anymore, neighbors are doing good to get along or dont even know one another.I inherited a very large portion of the land and put a get away cabin over their. When I mow the grass or cut thistles I think of the blood and sweat that my Great Grandfather(Whom I never knew)up to my grandfather has dropped farming the land.

Important things are...10 fingers and 10 toes...all in the right places...
Wishing the new mom and dad God's blessings, and strength for the road ahead.
