Al Gore, Please Meet Irena Sendler - The Firearms Forum

There recently was the death of a 98-year-old lady named Irena Sendler.

During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist.

She had an ulterior motive...

She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German).

Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of her tool box she carried, and she also carried in the back of her truck a Burlap sack, (for larger kids).

She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto.

The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.

During her time and course of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants.

She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs and arms and beat her severely.

Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.

After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it, and reunited the family.

Most, of course, had been gassed.

Those kids she helped were placed into foster family homes or adopted.

In 2007, Irena was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize....

She LOST.

Al Gore won for doing a slide show on Global Warming.

Irena died May 12, 2008

There is no reason to apologize...I believe it to be true still , and as such...should even be posted every day and TAUGHT IN THE SCHOOLS..........................

My wife will come in and see me watching holocaust editorials...groan and say you know that stuff enough to teach it...and your watchin it again.........and of course I say ..and repeat.....It cant be watched enough...IF NOT IT WILL REPEAT..............

I have noticed the only press GORDO getting lately is bad from even the Libbies..."he has such big houses and SUV's for Green people "..............I woul dpray before I die..for the opportunity to place the "medal " where it belongs.....

Pfft....f*** Al Gore. And you know what, I"m just about sick and f****** tired of hearing the Muslims whine and bitch and moan about being offended. Well, I'm sorry, but the Holocaust HAPPENED!!!! SIX MILLION INNOCENT JEWS WERE ERASED OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET!!!!!!! IT'S HISTORY AND IT'S REAL!!!!!!! If the Muslims find it offensive, then they can kiss my a** because to tell you the truth, I'm starting to get offended by them always whining for special treatment because they're Muslim.

Oh, but I can't express my outrage over the special treatment they're getting because I"m a white male. I'm not allowed to be offended by anything because I"m the reason that all other groups on the face of the planet have such a tough life.

its hard for me to believe that the comittee that decides who gets the NOBLE PRIZE overlooked this wonderful and brave woman!!!!

how could anyone choose the idiot who claimed to have invinted the internet the noble prize for some freakin SLIDESHOW about GLOBAL WARMING of all things!!!!!

IMHO that wonderful lady should have gotten that award as many times as possible for as long as possible. i bet those schmucks will try to pull a richard move of awarding Sendler with it posthumously!!!
