Welcome to TFF Winston,
It's great to have another International member sign on. I hope you enjoy yourself here. I have never heard of that brand of pistol, are you able to post some photos?

Welcome, Winston. Feg makes a good gun, and you can't beat the .45acp.
What model is your pistol. I have a friend who is Corazon Aquinos 1st cousin. He has a 1911 style .45 made by Armscor (I think) that was made in the Philippines. This pistol shot very well. ![]() Art

Here is my FEG. Like IC1's, it's a PA-63, but mine is the AP-9 .380 auto. wearing custom-made black walnut grips. I love it!
![]() ![]() And winstonpena05 will like my Phillipine-made Shooter's Arms Manufacturing (SAM) 1911 .45 auto showing off it's new double-diamond rosewood grip panels. A sweet shooter! ![]() ![]()

Unless they have changed, buy the large economy size package of Band-Aids when working on those FEG guns. They don't tumble their frames and they are full of sharp edges and metal burrs. Otherwise, they are fine guns, all milled steel and very well made.

The Gkk is a copy of a Browning hi-power not a 1911
They were maDE IN bLUE as well as Nickel also in 9mm imported back in the 80's. They make good project guns . |

Many places on the internet call the GKK a copy of a Browning HP, perhaps in silhouette but with very few common traits. Here is my Inglis Canadian made Browning clone made from actual FN blueprints and my FEG GKK-45 with its slide mounted safety and double action/single action trigger similar to how S&W did their trigger/hammer set up. You be the judge...

The GKK is an FEG made gun that, unlike the Hi Power copy, has a system more like the S&W model 59. It's a pretty stout gun and pretty reliable.
BTW, GKK is the name KBI gave to it. On the old Charles Daly website there was a post that said the initials "GKK" were the initials of Mr Kassner's daughter. I know of a shop around my area that has one for $299. He's had it for weeks and hasn't sold it yet. I think mostly because folks aren't too familiar with it, and maybe because it's not high capacity and plastic.

I gotta ask, in PI where ARMSCOR makes the Rock Island 1911's, why get a FEG?
The 1911's gotta be cheaper on the same island...right?
