Default Jingles or tunes that you just could'nt get out of your head......

What was the worst tv advertisement Jingle or song that you just could'nt stop humming......

I've had several songs...thats cowboy logic, which i changed to thats white boy logic... I've had that stuck in my head for days

Then theres Alan Jacksons Its allright to be a redneck song....
ba ba bum...ba ba bum!...da da daaa?....tata ta ta.....

But the worst of all time came from watching a tv program on the subject of old old tv commercials......Oh god i had that song in my head for a week....i sang it at work....at walmart...everywhere

Rice A Roni...the Saaan Fraaaancisco treat!

Over and Over.......
Oh thank god its over..

omg!

We had this guy to quit on us from out of no where, in the middle of the season, I was pretty ticked off, but Dad had a decent attitude about it, he said "well he just lost that loving feeling".

I got home that evening jumped on the computer voice recorder, and recorded this song, sped it up to sound like the chipmunks, and burned it on a CD for our enjoyment in the work truck.

Derrick lost that loving feeling
oh, that loving feeling
Derrick lost that loving feeling
now he's gone, gone, gone
career minded gone

Okay, I wont make you endure all of the parody, but the joke was on me...I couldn't get that freeking song out of my head for a week, and I'll certainally never make another one!

Heres hoping it didn't stick again. (turns on stereo)

There's a commercial out right now for some Japanese truck... Nissan I think. There are a bunch of guys in the truck, and one is singing a Shania Twain song, "I feel like a woman". It's a pretty funny commercial but I can't get that damn song out of my head.

There's a holdup in the Bronx
Brooklyn's broken out in fights.

There's a traffic jam in Harlem
That's backed up to Jackson Heights.

There's a scout troop short a child
Kruschev's due at Idlewild......

Car 54 where are you!

And.......

A horse is a horse of course, of course.
And no one can talk to a horse, of course.
That is, of course, unless the horse...is the famous Mr. Ed.

Go straight to the source and ask the horse
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse...
You've never heard of a talking horse?

I am Mr. Ed!

Racer and Quad bring back some vivid and fond memories.

Also, I can't get out of my head at times the picture of spark plugs, generators (before there was an alternator) and other auto parts marching and the background music. I think it was an auto-lite commercial in the very early days of TV. (Dating myself, I reckon!!)

Hey Toby,
I can think of a whole heck of a lot of worse things to have in my head other than Shania Twain!

Every morning I hear "The best part of waking up, is Folgers in your cup!" Mrs. Olsen lives!!!!

Ahh, Racer, I remember it well.

Now, how about "Teel, the Liquid Dentifrice?" Came in the small funny shaped bottle and was always red until near the last when they tried a green peppermint flovour, too. I can't remember the ditty at the moment but it was cute, too.

BTW, Racer, can you remember when Crest first came out?? You had to brush and NOT rinse for the anti-cavity flouride to work. I don't remember how long that lasted but our family was part of an initial group to experiment and set the stage that it was a proven thing and did work!

Also as an aside, even though OM hot dogs are pretty good, we need to ALWAYS remember that they are one of the biggest supporters of the Brady Bunch and the anit-gun agenda!!!!!

Mel Allen and his three ring Ballentine Beer.

BTW, Auto-Lite sponsored Suspense Theatre for years on radio and early in TV when sets were only about 8" screens, took five minutes for the picture to show and the snow was clearer than the picture.

2 weeks ago i had a "golden" opportunity so to speak at Mcdonalds....

I was waiting for my order when this older guy comes up to the counter with his burger bun in hand...does'nt say a word, lifts the top bun up showing it to the girl behind the counter....I leaned over to look and there was'nt any beef patty in it....And for once i had my thinking cap on and imediately said in a loud obnoxious voice.....WHEEEERS THE BEEF!!!...........3 times!!
The girl behind the counter turned red with embarrasment, the old guy with the burgerless burger almost fell down laughing.....everybody in that resteraunt was looking at me....a couple even stood up to look....

Man am i lucky to be in the right place at the right time!!

How bout " Winston tastes good like a cigarette should?" How many remember that one?

Or " McDonalds is your kind of place?"

Guess I am dating myself too. swede

Probably the classiest music in a commercial was the background music from those "Marlboro Man" commercials....."On The Trail", from The Grand Canyon Suite.
