Found a source for primmed 22lr brass but haven't found a powder funnel or bullets yet.
and the price on the primmed brass is the same as loaded ammo

Use the old brass, just turn it a little so the rim gets hit in a differant place. A friend of my uncle's said they used .22 brass 7-8 times doing it like this.

I saw a press that would turn 22LR brass into 223 bullets.

I guess you'll be wanting to use the Aquila brass right? I saw a few of those on the ground at the range last week. I should have saved 'em right then and there if I thought you needed them so badly. I'll keep my eyes peeled. I did read an article in BackWoods magazine one time that mentioned a way to reload obscure rimmed rounds by taking the heads of matches and crushing them, making a paste of it with water, putting some of that paste in the bottom of the rimmed case and tamping down with a nail and putting the shells on a baking sheet in an oven set at about 125 degrees until fully dried. Too much work for me, but since you're retarrred now, time is your friend, right?
