I figured that I would spend some time with good friends before I left. So tommarow Dcon will post pics. (I hope) I will talk to you all when I get there.

Good luck. Here are MY PERSONAL rules of engagement for you while you are in the big sandbox....

1. Keep your head on a swivel and always check your six.
2. Look out for the guys on your immediate right and left.
3. Pray that they do the same.
4. When in a populated area remain totally alert, totally polite, and totally prepared to kill every person you see.
5. When shooting at a bad guy, move after firing, they will shoot back at the spot you just vacated.
6. Last but not least, irregardless of what the brass says, there is no such thing as too much ammo.
7. If given the option of carrying more rations or ammo...take the ammo every time.

This former Naval Officer extends the best wishes and issues a sharp hand salute to you as you go in harm's way. Take care and keep your eyes open and your head low.
