Default Yo .22 WRF

Hey man...I just want to thank you for this link in another thread.

Years ago my dad gave me an old clock that hung above the fireplace for as long as I can remember, as a kid...Nothing real elaborate really, just kind of a piece of driftwood with a deep lacquer, but it means a lot to me because of the whole nostalgia thing.

Anyway, I've tried to find movements and hands for it before without any luck and I've even been to KlocKit, but somehow I think I've found the necessary parts to get 'er back up and running now...

I look forward to hanging it in the reloading studio.

Hey Mike,

Clock kit suff is stocked @ a lot of the Crafts Stores. I've done a bunch of clocks from old Redwood burl. Neat stuff!

If you were talking to me Bruce, I guess I have considered stores like that, but just never had the time to stop and look around while in the metroplex and I live in a tiny town with nothing like that locally...

If I have a problem with it...You wanna work it over?

I'm sure your price would be competitive.

I have built a couple of the clock kits and gotten parts to fix up several old clocks.

They are a good company to deal with

BTW don't get battery movement that runs of a N battery.; They are expensive compared to AA and AAA

I think the one I ordered was a C size battery dude...Did I do okay?

If not, hell, it was cheap enough...I just hope I matched the hands with the action so that they will fit and also keep time.

Thanks...

C's are ok it's just the N's.

The movements usually say what hands fit then it's just getting them the right length for the dial size

Okay man...I was real certain about the dial size, I'm just hoping they fit the clockwork...LOL, it is a little hard to figure out, but as I stated before, this stuff is cheap so it'll come together without breaking the bank even if I got it wrong.

Hopefully....

Thanks again.

D'oh! Sorry Donny (not mike) . If you get real bored, I'll start looking around for a piece of Redwood burl.

Not a problem, I've done the same to IPT and Xracer in the past.
