Default When tempers flare

Did anybody see that Sabres game last night? That big brawl was awesome. It reminded me of my days at Catholic school. The nuns were big Sabres fans but denounced the violence and since then it seemed to get calmer and calmer. It was refreshing to see some of the violence again. Plus the Sabres won to boot.

GFB,

But over 100 penalty minutes? Sheesh, they'll never finish that game unless every player gets ejected to keep the other three company.

Oh..Hockey! Not much of a fan. Went to a U of M game one time when I was in the Navy. Pretty interesting. Last weekend, I took my daughter to a local high school league game. I was blown away! Players were being taken out left & right by each other. Personally thought it was a bit extreme, especially for High School play. It was a different kind of mentality, for sure. But if they could use that energy & attitude in improving the local schools, we would make some progress in a hurry.
