Default sar-8 sportster nib the poor man's HK-91

I have a black springfield sar-8 sportster new in box
it is a greek built hk-91, and it has a thumbhole
stock.

I think I paid $800 for it in the 80s
and thousands were sold, so it's
no rare collector's item.

what is it's general value if I were to
offer it for sale?

Is there a market for it?

Hi Larry.....welcome to TFF.

According to the Blue Book, your Springfield SAR-8 is worth:

100% - $1,015
98% - $835

Made from 1990-98.....Last MSR was $1,204.

It is 100%

Now I can ask $800 and know it's a reasonable
price to a individual.

Thanks for the info.
