Default win. model 70 super grade 375 mag 1950

Can you tell me the value of a win model 70 super grade 375 mag manufactured 1950. All sling and swivels intact. All blueing excellent, bore excellent. Stock has minor finish wear and the black forend of stock is missing. Just dowel is there. Can this part of stock be fitted and installed or repaired? thanks

Any good (or journeyman gunsmith) can put a forend on the rifle. Not sure if the original was horn or ebony. You'd want it to be original. I'd take a wild guess on the value at somewhere around $2500, maybe a little more. Rifles in the Super grade in that caliber arent plentiful. I've seen some in .300 H&H but not many in .375 H&H.
