I'm not sure if this the proper forum, but here goes. I just purchased a new Para CCWX745S, .45 cal., with a 4" barrell, single stack, with 7+1 capacity, I need a holster to carry the weapon concealed. I have tried every manufacturer in the back of my current "Handgunner".to no avail.
I am open to any suggestion. I would prefer leather. Thanks for your help, Tim James

Hey Tim,
Welcome to the forum! When you say you've tried "every manufacturer in the back of "Handgunner"" Do you mean you've purchased from all of them? It seems I've heard of a lot of people with Galco products, and I know of Milt Sparks, High Noon, DeSantis...to name a few. Have you tried any of these? Rob |

Give Kirkpatrick Leather a try. I bought a Texas Strong Side from them when the Kimber line came out, and I've been completely satisfied with it.

Thanks guys,
The only holsters that I have used in the past have been Bianci; I thought I'd try something different. The handgun is due to arrive from Davidson's either today or tomorrow. I can hardly wait to try out the new Para LDA. I wonder if the trigger will need some work?? Thanks for your help, Tim James

Try this guy. I have the Rangemaster and it's my favorite holster. He now makes a slimline as well.

saltydogt,
You did not mention whether you were wanting to carry Inside the Waistband (IWB) or Outside the Waistband (OWB). I use a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 for IWB when carrying my Wilson Professional and it is a 4" barreled 1911. I tried many others but the VM2 is far & wide my favorite. For OWB carry, I have several first class leather holsters I use. A Galco, Dillon, a High Noon, A Bianchi...actually 2 Bianchis.
