This is from the Sig web site. I won't get my hands on mine until Thursday afternoon. And after changing the pic, here it is.

Thanks folks. Now I just need to get some leather for it. I'm not sure if anyone makes holsters especially for the Sig, or if most holsters just use a 1911 format and say, "it'll fit". Id be tickled to hear some first hand experience.

Any 1911 style holster will work but be sure it has a deep sight channel.
Waiting for a range report. ![]() |

Well, the pistol should be here Thursday afternoon. There's 500 rounds waiting on the bench. I'm off work Fri and Sat....... ... range report should be posted by afternoon Sat. As old as I am, waiting hasn't become any easier. ![]()

20 mph wind, and rain....... not gonna shoot today, but tomorrow should be a good range day. Pistol got here yesterday. Initial looksee...... fit and finish are excellent. The grip-safety has a raised radius against the shooters' hand, instead of a lower "bump". Feels different, but not at all uncomfortable. It came apart like a normal 1911, no special tools needed. Components were snug, but not overly tight. Slide to frame fit is very good. Visual evidence of contact along slide/rails indicate about 90% contact, and very smooth. Book says trigger pull is 4.5 - 5.5 pounds.... can't measure it accurately, but after a few hundred pulls with a snap cap in place, I'm ok with it. Here's a pic taken this morning, and I'll have a range report tomorrow.

It's amazing. Your pic looks identical to the one you posted from the Sig site.

yep, that's the one. I can't afford to buy a Sig to photograph for every site I visit.
