I am trying to put a value on a win. mod. 70 It is in .243 caliber stainless steel regular tapered barrel. It is a classic SA i asume this is short action. It also has a synthetic stock. It was made around 1995. It is in Like new shape. Thanks

Hi sgt. highchops.....welcome to TFF.
I'm having some trouble nailing down which of the 67 different models of the Model 70 you have. Based on what you've told me (Model 70 in .243, regular tapered bbl. in S.S., synthetic stock, and made in '95 or before), I think what you have is the Model 70 Classic Stainless. Does it have a black stock? Blue Book value: Model 70 Classic Stainless - 98% - $465 95% - $360 Last MSR was $817 |

Then it's most likely the Model 70 Classic Stainless. Values are as shown above.
