Default FEG PA 63 .32 acp

Does anyone know if the Wolff reduced power hammer spring (9 lb.) for the FEG PA 63 9X18 Makarov caliber will work and provide reduced trigger pull in the FEG PA 63 .32 acp? I called the expert at Wolff and he did not know. Thanks

It should work considering its basically the same gun but sometimes higher tension springs are there for a reason and usually its safety reasons. Replacing the spring won't hurt any aspects of the gun itself but some guns (usually those of military configurations such as the FEG used in law enforcement) rely on spring tension for drop safety or accidental discharge safety. I'm not saying the FEG is one of those guns but I'm just throwing my .02 out there. Before I would go replacing any springs I would try to smooth some of the surfaces of the action. This will improve things quite a bit.
