Default What movie is this?

I am not putting this on the name that movie thread because I do not KNOW the answer!

It was a romance/comedy at LEAST 20 years old, but probably more because I remember it as a black and white.

This couple have a teenaged son who is going on a trip to Europe with some friends of his. Dad is not happy about it, but is letting him go. When he is voicing his displeasure with it, the kid says something like "You don't understand, Dad - all over the world it is LOVE!

Dad replies "I've been all over the world, son. Take a gun!"

I've tried IMDB, searches, etc., and can not come up with a title -
But surely that line stuck with someone here - -
