Default Gilligan is gone

Bob Denver has passed away. He'll always be remembered as Gilligan, but I remember when I was a kid, one of the local stations played "Dobie Gillis" reruns, and I always like Maynard G. Krebs. He made alot of people laugh.

He and I are the same age. I hope I can be around for a good while yet.

I remember the "Dobie" reruns, too. And I watched Gilligan every afternoon after school for years. He was definitely one of a kind.

Sheeesh! I remember the Dobie originals! But in all seriousness, Bob Denver was a great actor and brought smiles to millions of faces the world over. He'll be missed.
