Pastors charged after telling 'gays' about sin
Now facing bench trial in court run by lesbian Two veteran street preachers in Houston are facing a bench trial for spreading the biblical message about homosexuality – and other sins – on one of their favorite corners for preaching in Houston. That the message was direct is obvious, from a photo of the situation that developed for David Stokes of BulldogMinistries.com and Dave Allen of HornofSamuelBook.com: Their sign warns those who are "Drunks, homosexuals, abortionist, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, witches, idolators" that "Hell awaits you." Their hearing will be in Houston Municipal Court, which is run by Barbara E. Hartle, who, according to the Dallas Voice, is listed by the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund as "one of only a few out members of the Texas judiciary." She was appointed to the position by Houston Mayor Annise Parker, identified by the Los Angeles Times as "the first lesbian to head a major American city." Allen told WND that no matter what happens, the fact that the ministers were handcuffed and ticketed, with their signs and shofar confiscated for a time, sent a chilling message about free speech regarding religion and homosexuality. Technically, they were ticketed for having signs thicker than one-quarter inch (they say they were 3/16ths and that they'd been approved beforehand), and for having a sign not made out of wood (their shofar is a ram's horn style). Officers responded after someone apparently complained about the messengers and their message, but a video reveals that the first officer on the scene told them they weren't doing anything wrong. It was a few minutes later, however, when officers approached the preachers, apparently grabbed a video camera, wrestled them to the ground and put them in handcuffs. That's even though Stokes and Allan have been preaching at that location for several years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkDkP...layer_embedded The video recording shows that the officers discussed the situation with each other, saying, "They can be out there all they want," and "There was no problem, but we have to do a report on this guy." There's also a reference to "one way to get rid of them," coupled with a muffled statement that appears to say, "Seize the signs." The ministers reported on a YouTube video description that that "police officer admits to trying to take the signs away in order to get us to leave the corner." To Allen, that sounds like a First Amendment speech infringement. "We have been preaching on this corner with these same signs for two years," he says in the YouTube introduction. A local television station also reported on the developing controversy Allen told WND he blows the shofar and others preach to passersby because of the Old Testament warning that those who know the truth of God's will and don't deliver it to others will bear the responsibility of that failure. Allen told WND the ministries largely have had a reasonable relationship with the Houston Police Department, but this incident seemed to be reaching for the men in blue. He said he couldn't speculate on what impact the ministries' message of biblical condemnation for homosexuality may have on the outcome of their case. "Preaching is all we were doing," he said. "Against all sins." Read more: Pastors charged after telling 'gays' about sin http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=373377#ixzz1fNN7vI2F

I dunno. whats wrong wit one man taking his tally wakker and sticking in a nother mans backside? Seems perfectly natural, you know like sticking your tally wakker in a electrical socket, dung heap, or a goat. I mean whats wrong with that?
You can tell someone that what they are doing is wrong and that is ok. But once the police move in and throw you around screw it let them burn. A cop should have the ability to make a decission between right and wrong, they need to burn also. They obviously cant choose right. The devil doesn't like to be told he is wrong

In my experience they are far from weak and most are militant and want to flaunt thier lifestyle. My daughter said My tolerating her lifestyle was not enough. She wants us to embrace it. Amazing.

Sodomy is illegal in TX, a misdemeanor and a $500 fine. http://www.glapn.org/sodomylaws/usa/texas/texas.htm
But to speak against sodomy will get arrested? These boys have a good case!

This one's funny, so I got to tell it. One time he, and another queer friend came over to the house to help me with removing some trees. He jumped on the riding lawn mower, leaving me, and the other guy to do the hard work. He came up behind us on the lawnmower, and as he came around us he said, "Beep, Beep", then looked back and said, "You need to put a horn on this thing". My reply? "Why, the driver blows"! His friend fell out in yard laughing his butt off!

What happened there, IMO, the first cop got on his radio " nothing wrong here ". That ticked off somebody with a Sergent's rank up that was listening. They went car-to-car with another officer, and that officer was told to " find something wrong, get em off the street ".
I don't know if car-to-car is recorded or not, but the preachers attorney should look into it.

I don't really care what gays do as long as they don't bother me.

if i had only one child i would tolerate their perversion to some extent(they would, naturally, be forbidden to practice it in my house or on my property) and try to love them back to the straight
and narrow, but if i had more than one child i would have no choice but to put them out lest they corrupt their siblings.Last edited by HunterAlpha1; 12-02-2011 at 11:47 PM.. |

i know a lot of you guys will disagree with this, but that's OK most people don't agree with my opinions anyway...
God setup the universe to respond to righteousness... righteousness is a 'holier than thou' religious phrase that means doing the right moral thing... if people do the right thing the earth and other people respond well and thrive in this type of environment... however, if society chooses immorality the earth and other people respond with chaos... now, for people who say "i don't care what other people do in their bedrooms so long as they don't bother me"... i say you should care, you should stand up for what is right morally because it does affect you! our nation is at a tipping point right now, we are either going to be a nation of righteousness or lawlessness, and which way it tips depends on people standing up for what is right and doing the right thing, or for good people to stand by and do nothing... off the soap box now... |

What bothers me is they are pushing it in my face and teaching it in school. Most adolence (sp) have insecurities about thier sexuallity and this indoctronation seems to push them the other way. Very sad how they are feminizing the male and the females are getting more masculan.
