The first picture is of something I made to put my Lee Perfect Powder Measure on my press. Not only am I broke, I am cheap. I got tired of having to do 3 or 4 different motions to get powder in the cases. I will still weigh every 10th or so charge. I think it will work fine.....but,
What do you think? The second pic shows how I decided to catch all the old spent primers.

I don't have your Lee set-up, but why can't your just screw the Perfect Powder Measure into the Lee expander powder drop die?

You can't with the this powder measure. You have to buy a different one and even if they had an adapter for it I wouldn't buy it (they may make one)......I all kinds of tools and stuff laying around, so I would rather just make something.

Great creativity and using what you have at hand to get the job done. I agree with Jack about the primer tubing...the primers need a steep slope to slide down.

I was worried about the tube at first (so worried I almost drilled another hole in my bench), but I have deprimed about 2000 pieces of 45acp and 9mm brass and it works great. I guess the primer gets just enough roll to make the trip down with no issues.

yeah gravity is good , glad it works
might even copy it then with your permission of course wont be clear like yours and i got hose clamps and i think the jar will sit on the floor here just fine save me sweeping the things up as usual i got a great feeder for Christmas before last .. digital , weighs each chareg , press auto and it'll run up a load and deliver it when you press the button then its just a single press a charge i'd never have bought though but now would not be without it i can reload 1000 a day i worked out based on 4 hours actual normally i do 50 come here for a while and then do another 50.. ![]() now i do 100 or so at a sitting , speeds things way up Last edited by jack404; 03-22-2012 at 11:59 PM.. |

I was going to do something similar with the jar on the floor, but knowing my clumsy butt....I would be kicking it over every two minutes. That's why I did it like this. The Velcro holds that jar extremely well too. I had it full of primers at one point and it held tight.
I still have a few more ideas for the bench that I am debating.......I don't know if having the limited space is a gift or curse at this point. I enjoy everything being right there, but I am sure that at some point I am going to need ten times the space.

I know a feller that drilled a hole in the bench-top, under the press, where the primers end up. Under the bench he has a 5-gallon bucket. Primers fall through the hole into the bucket. No muss, no fuss.
