Default The camelias are blooming

My camelia normally doesn't bloom until late January/early February, but this year it decided to bloom before Christmas. After 4 or 5 buds had opened, we had a week of 20° weather, and I thought sure the rest of the buds would fall off without opening. But it has surprised me and after a brief pause, has begun blooming again.

I just love camelias. Nothing like a little color during the dreary months of the year.

Very nice!

The one at my moms home that she has had for about 30+ years still only blooms before a heavy rain. The thing is remarkable!
