the value of the carbine might be more it all depends on who made it and is it all original ie natinal postal meter stock with npm bolt barrel receiver trigger group etc..... but looking at the picture johns estimate seems about correct

That 624 is a 44 SPECIAL, not a 44 magnum.

I think John's undervaluing. I'd think closer to 550 than 450.

he shouldnt have any problems selling it... he might have problems getting what he wants if he is asking 600. they dont go for that much around here with that much character lol

Dan, look under the rear sight to see wo made the carbine, it will make a difference in the value of it. I don't know it it will make a difference, but CMP has all their carbines listed for less than $500 (at least the ones they have in stock).

I am gathering the paperwork right now to buy one of their Inland's for $419 plus shipping.

a beat up rock-ola goes for 600 plus can't recall right now which one is the highly sought after one. quality hardware ???? the inlands are the most common. i think..... to lazy to get my carbine book out
