Beautimous pics but if I may please allow this old DAT(Dumb A$$ Tanker) one slight correction. That's not an M60, that's an M48. The rounded bow as opposed to the straight across bow of the 60 is the clincher on the id. Far as I know the only "60's" in the Nam were CEV's (Combat Engineer Vehicles) and were designated M552s if I remember correctly. We had 4 in the 4th Combat Engineers in the Central Highlands configured as minesweepers. The CEV had a stub barrel 165mm main gun as opposed to the 105 long barrel of the 60 and the 90 of the M48. Will post pics someday when I (if) I ever figger out how. Not too cyberneticly inclined.

Holy crap, you have pictures of puff. Now that was one mean machine!

Did you ever go on it?

Edit to welcome the new guy . I hope you figure out how to post some of those pictures that you have. I'm sure there are some here that will advice you on how to do it if you ask them.

Nice ones, Admin! Those pics of Puff and of that Huey bring back a lot of memories. I never got to ride in Puff, but the fire they could put out saved my tusshie more than once!

Thanks, but these great pictures belong to Chief Wilborn, I only posted
