New Weatherby side-by-sides

The new Weatherby Athena side-by-sides are here on display. Everybody knew they were Spanish, but I didnt realize how Spanish. You can spot them across the room. Plunger-style forend release, typical engraving line around the barrels at the chamber.

They balance well, but I think Weatherby should have Americanized the shotgun more if they want to sell them.

Will get my hands on the Ruger Gold Label tomorrow.

MSRP $1950 If my pricing is correct, I'll be selling at $1479.

The one I've seen (havent got to shoulder it yet) had nice wood, but we all know better than that right? Will know more tomorrow night.

How 'bout the Weatherby's, Doc? Heard on another forum that they are an extremely good buy, due to currency exchange rate.
