I received a Drilling in fair condition. Can not find out who made it. Some of the markings are:
ZELLA-MEHLIS Frankonia

H. Ansorg GewehrFrabrik

StM. G.

N 12gr---it slso had nitro on the barrels

8.8 - I think it is an 8.8 mm x 72mm
72
338 which I think is the manufacture date
445 don't know what this is

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Shoesboots......welcome to TFF.

Well, I can't tell you much about this drilling except who made it and where it was made.

Gewehr Fabrik means Gun Maker or Arms Maker, so the maker was H. Ansborg.

It was made in Zella-Mehlis which is a town near Erfurt, Germany.

That's all I have for now, but I'll keep looking.
