im hoping some1 could help me i have a bluderbus style gun that i wish to get traced and repaired.the barrel lenght is 16" and diameter is 1" 1/4 the over all lenght is 32".The stamps on the barrel are"LONDON, WA 1145,DM,a crown with v under it and a crown with what looks like a smaller crown under it"also on the brass butt plate its stamped 25 but you can see that wa 1145 was stamped over it.

For me at least pictures would really help out alot....This old of firearm was probaly hand made and resource material slim at best. A picture is truly worth a "thousand words" Other wise I fear there will be little help here. Best regards Kirk |

ya i know but im unable to upload pics at the moment and the link i posted was removed.through my own research today i found out that a crown over cp is a general proof for english guns and is still used today also that a crown over v is a view mark(im not sure what a view mark is)but i have found nothing about the LONDON stamp or the wa 1145 stamp,i have contacted the london proof house but have heard nothing from them
