Default Picked up a new toy err I mean revolver

I finally got my concealed carry piece. A Taurus Model 617 Snubnose 357 Magnum. I can't wait to get out to the range and test it out. I like how the 357s can also fire .38 specials too. I was having trouble deciding between the Springfield XD 45 ACP or a Taurus Revolver. I decided on the revolver as they're less prone to breaking and jamming.

No feedback on my purchase? I thought Taurus was supposed to be one of the best "Non American" made firearm companies.

I don't think you will be sorry for the purchase, Scatter. I have several Taurus revolvers and all have proven higly reliable and excellent shooters. Like you, I generally prefer to carry a revolver over an auto due to its greater reliability. I suspect you will find that revolver rather stout on the recoil end of the equation, at least with full-power 357s, but with .38s it will be pleasant to shoot.
