What a crock of S**T. The man was defending himself from a damn thug. They only charged him to keep Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton happy. Those two need to be charged with starting the so called RACE riots.

Actually, these two vultures are probably disappointed. Now they have no reason to stir up trouble. They only profit when they get the natives restless.

Sure they do...since they won't get to pick who sits on the jury, they're going to claim racism because they won't get an all black, card carrying New Black Panther Party jury.

Here's how it works in Seattle.
Three young black men (boys) beat our beloved Tuba Man to death. They knowingly, and purposely, beat him to death. They got manslaughter. http://www.king5.com/news/local/60014807.html So we have 3 blcak chillen that decide to take the life of a white man waiting fer a bus. They get a pass. We have one hispanic guy defending his life, and he get 2nd degree charges? This is gonna be a circus. Mark my words, the charge will be argued down to manslaughter, and thrown out. That opens the doors to a civil trial where manslaughter is now the accepted term for self defense. Double standard? Hell ya.

2nd degree just means they are stupid........they had a shot at manslaughter. I just don't see how they can convict beyond reasonable doubt.

He is supposed to be judged by a jury of his ''peers''.
Hmmm , 12 half-cracker, half-Peruvian?

I think the message from govt. is...you can have your guns, but if you use them to defend yourself, you go to jail.

BINGO! Give that Man a Cigar!!! Then when the SHTF with this upcoming Bloody Race War most will watch it happen for fear of being charged with Murder. Most will Stock pile lots of ammo and buy more guns, just to hide them and have them, but not use them. Using them will put your ass in jail or worse. |

Since Zimmerman turned himself into authorities, I wonder if the NBPP is going to honor it's $10,000 reward for his arrest and pay him.

He should call them out on it, make them fund his legal defense. Their heads would pop on national TV.

Second-degree murder is ordinarily defined as 1) an intentional killing that is not premeditated or planned, nor committed in a reasonable "heat of passion" or 2) a killing caused by dangerous conduct and the offender's obvious lack of concern for human life. Second-degree murder may best be viewed as the middle ground between first-degree murder and voluntary manslaughter. http://criminal.findlaw.com/criminal...efinition.html
Let me see if I have this right. Zimmerman is on the ground, and Martin is on top of him, slaming Zimmerman's head into the pavement, and beating him. Now I'm looking at the definition of 2nd degree murder, and I simply can not find a place for it in this case! It was not intentional, was not premeditated, or planned, nor was it committed in the "heat of passion". So it must be that Zimmerman shot Martin due to dangerous conduct, and that he showed obvious lack for human life! No that don't fit either! Y'all help me out here!

The good news is, Zimmerman may not qualify for the "stand your ground" defense because he arguably followed and provoked Trayvon. That might take some of the pressure off to reverse the law. IMHO Zimmerman will serve some time. They will plead down to some lesser charge, put him away for a while until the public forgets and goes on to the next big racial inequality situation and nothing will have changed. The biggest problem I have with this whole mess, is the part the liberal news media played in taking this to national attention, while having no substantial facts except an anti-gun and gun-law agenda. If any blood is shed as a result of an unpopular verdict, it will be on the hands of the news media and they should be held accountable.

You notice the objectivity of the prosecutors when she states they are seeking "Justice for Travon"?

The ONLY reason he is being charged is because of pressure from the race-baiters.

It should, but it won't. They won't let the facts get in the way. This falls into the "letting a good crisis go to waste" category.
