Default New Year purchases

Okay, we are officially through the first week of the new year. Knowing the compulsive nature of most of us, let's admit it, how many of us have already purchased, or made plans to purchase, a new gun?
I wasn't planning to, but I put away a nice, used, Ruger P95 the other day. The real scary thing is, there is a gun show in Joplin,Mo the 14th and 15th and a friend wants me to go with him.
Your turn, 'fess up.

The Smith & Wesson 945 is still being paid for that is all I am doing until it is paid off. I did find a great deal on a Marlin Goose gun 12 Ga. 36 inch barrel but I can't do it until the 945 is paid off. Maybe I will get lucky later in the year.

Haven't the money for a new purchase now. That's why I'm sitting out a gunshow in Nampa, Id. today, only 14 miles away.

Dang IT!

The C note my wife put in my new wallet she got me for Xmas (along with my new NRA card when she reupped me without me knowing!) "because SOG didn't sell gift certificates" lasted until Dec 29th...a "correct" M38 was just WAITING for me at a local Gunshop...

...Now I'm wondering how I can somehow con ANOTHER C note out of her for next weekend's Indy 1500 show....

GOSH it's hell to be out of collection money AND have nothing but "keepers" left in the collection...

I feel SO dirty....

Just before the end of the year I got a FN-FAL. It is a Enterprise rifle from Stg58 parts with a 18" barrel. Very sweet shooting, and easy to carry.

Put money down on a HK P7 today. Will pick it up in 2 weeks. Got two Ruger Acusport .357 Bisleys with my name on them when they fnally are available and a HK P2000sk likely in March. After that...

Went to a gun show on Saturday, and saw a Bauska barrelled and built High Wall, too cheap, in .225 Win; too cheap was still more than I could afford; the (98%) High Standard Sharpshooter, back in the corner, though, isn't there, anymore. It came home with me.
I just can't stand to see such work sitting on a table, like so much liver, when it could be making people (ME) happy!
When I die, I'll certainly be near to broke, but the kids will have to put on a three day auction, just for the 'toys'. Y'all come!

That's a good looking gun Blackhawk. I got my new P95 home last night. It was sold to me as used, and there is powder residue in the chamber, but the warrenty card is still there. It doesn't look like it was used much. It's raining today, hopefully I can shoot it tomorrow.

thanks the frame is a N.M. Springfield serial number 27XX, really does have 4 digits, it has a 4 digit colt government slide, the whole pistol was tricked out and hard chromed at accurate plating and weaponry in hialeah fla., shoots very well, but sure is a lot of fun with the 22 on it.

I am going to hit the show this wekend in Richmond and look for a new or used pocket pistol.

Not absolutly certain what I want yet though. I am thinking small instead of supreme horsepower. Maybe a .32 or .380?

You guys are more ambitious than me. I sent the money off yesterday for a NEF 22lr. Going to send it to NEF and get a 17 barrel.

Well as luck would have it Cabelas was open on New Years Day, I walked out with a Savage 93 in .17hmr topped with a Burris scope. Then this past Tuesday at my local Gun shop I picked up a Ruger 77/22 All weather in .22 mag with a Nikon scope. And I guess I should let you know that I ended '05 with the purchase of a Remington 1100 Classic Field in 20 ga and yes you guessed while Chirstmas shopping for my father, he got a really nice Beligum made Browning A5.
