Question Need help for anshutz 164 sporter bolt

My husband has a savage anshutz 22 long rifle, model 164 Sporter....handed down thru family so very sentimental plus he loves using it. The bolt has been misplaced somehow. Does anyone know how to get this bolt replaced...where, who, if at all possible???? Any help or direction would be wonderful, especially with Xmas coming up.

Try the Factory Service and Repair Center. For sporters, it's: Merkel USA, Inc.
7661 Commerce Lane
Trussville, Al 35173
Tel: 205-655-8299
Fax: 205-655-7078

Hope that helps!

dee,
Welcome to the forum and good luck in your quest! A 'new' bolt for Christmas in this instance, would be much like receiving a new rifle!
