Default A Day at the Range

Marlin and I checked out a range in the national forest about 30 miles away. ... Nice place; we'll definitely be going back.

Gotta get my old, cranky scanner fired up first. ... Besides, we wouldn't want to embarrass y'all with our fancy shootin'.

Hi, Dale.

Can you add anything to my problem I asked about in the 1911 Forum?

Looks like a nice place y’all went to.
And sounds like you had some fun. (except for the 1911)
Now that you know you can bang away with it,
you will have even more fun next time.

We have a bunch of National forest around here.
I wonder if they would let us set up something like that???

Looks like a really nice range you two have there, lets hope the gov keeps it up.
This has to be the first time I have ever seen both husband and wife shootin southpaw. My wife is right handed but shoots left and I am left handed but shoot right. Go figure.

The range was very nice ... completely accessible by Marlin's wheelchair, and all four tables were ambidextrious; the seat swiveled to either side. ... and the shade was really nice, too!

There was a little added plus, too.

Plenty of sand bags were provided at each table for steady shooting and sighting in. We had left ours home not thinking we'd need them.

Marlin, Without a doubt i could add to your problem, just by giving any advice with 1911's. The advice the other people's is givin' is "Dead On" from my experience...

You and SoMo keep havin' fun!!!...That's an ORDER young'un!!!...
