CCRKBA - The Firearms Forum

I have been a supporter of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms for some time. I just got their latest "Point Blank" and noticed that the 2010 "Gun Rights Policy conference" will be in San Francisco. SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. I am pretty outraged at this. I don't want our dollars going to support an area that is anti-gun, anti-America(IMO). I am emailing them to move this event to Arizona.

I've talked to Alan Gottlieb about this in the past (over 20 years ago.) Their theory is that California citizens need the training CCRKBA and SAF furnish more than just about anybody in the country. Not spending money in California because you don't agree with their socialist practices is a valid point. However, helping people overcome that socialism is also a valid point.

Pops, I am kinda surprised you said that. Those folks are long gone leftist lunatics. They will all be out there dressed as drag queens, sporting anti-bush posters, while burning the american flag. They all have a picture of nancy pelosy on their I-Pods. They pray to obama. Barney Frank is their spiritual leader. They could all be led off the side of a cliff by cindy shehan. Forget trying to get them to "overcome". They are already sheep being led to slaughter. Bless their little hearts.

You are surprised that I reported on a conversation with Alan during a training session in San Diego? Well perhaps I should have not have told you about it.

I agree with your assessment of the ilk of many in California. However, there are many in that State who are working and fighting every day to "overcome the scum." (We used that as a rallying cry back in 1994, during Brian Bilbray's first run for Congress.) I left the state and will never return in my lifetime. I still support the patriots in that State, however, as I do all patriots in all States.
