Hello zanjero welcome to the board
my books list WW540 as a shotgun powder and for some handgun cartridges namely 40 S&W and 10mm, nothing for the 41 or 44 mag in fact Winchester recommends nothing but 296 for those, although my favorite has always been 4227 either H or IMR

I wouldn't go there either with the WW540 powder in the .41 and .44 magnum calibers.

As Fredneck said, the books show 10 mm and .45 acp using this powder and the pressure peaks are quickly arrived at with merely 8.6 grains of 540 in the 10 mm with a 200 gr. fmj bullet that registers 35,600 CUP.

You can also use the 540 powder in the .40 S&W and 9 mm calibers in the winchester loading books.
